Let’s partner up on making diet and lifestyle changes. Here is how it works: at the first meeting, I will get a clearer picture from you about your health background, present state of body/mind, and current routines.
We will discuss your Prakriti (constitutional make up) and Vikriti (present state of imbalance). In this session, we will begin to see what qualities may be diminished in your present state, while other qualities may be in excess. I will offer diet and lifestyle suggestions to restore equilibrium to body/mind and with this, your body and mind into a state of health and happiness.
I take great care to offer tips and resources for integrating and maintaining healthy routines that work with your daily schedule and responsibilities. These changes may take time, and we begin by focusing on the few things that are most likely to be effective for bringing you into balance during the present season and stage of life. As new routines are integrated, self-awareness will guide you into choices that support well-being.
Because of the custom planning and individual uniqueness of each person, new clients are only on-boarded as part of a New Client Package that consist of three consecutive consultations. Once this is complete new clients are able to book individual consultations as needed to reinforce new lifestyles and goals.
What to Expect with an Ayurvedic Consultation
Intake and Review
During this intake, I will take you through a thorough assessment of your posture, movement patterns, Ayurvedic constitution, breath, lifestyle, diet and sleep patterns. We will review your goals and concerns and together by integrating all this information we will create a routine or practice. This practice is called a sadhana. I will help you create a container for health and transformation.
Every Ayurvedic session is unique.
Although the content may vary from person to person, our sessions may include physical movement, self-myofascial release, meditation and breathing practices, yoga nidra, self-inquiry exercises and Ayurvedic practices. These sessions will help you connect with your own body and mind, as a complete healing experience. My personalized therapeutic practice considers your specific needs and goals and constitution. I will carefully assess you during each session and plan a practice that will accelerate healing and growth.
After our initial intake we construct your personal practice. Those who follow our practices on their own benefit most from An Ayurvedic consultation. This practice is adapted and adjusted throughout our time together.
