The Wild Feminine: Yoga & Herbs

Featuring Chamomile

Empowering Wellness Through Ayurveda and Yoga

June 29th, 3:30 pm - 4:45 pm

at Village Yoga in Glen Rock

Through monthly 75-minute classes focused on rituals, recipes, movements, and meditation, women can cultivate their connection to the wild feminine.

The concept of the wild feminine is rooted in embracing our innate nature, honoring our bodies, emotions, and the cycles of the Earth. Moving away from societal pressures that promote separation from nature, we are called to reawaken our senses and foster a harmonious relationship with the five elements—earth, air, fire, water, and space—and the earth itself. Herbs and plant medicines have been vital companions on this journey, offering gentle guidance and healing that is always available and waiting to be rediscovered.

Herbs like chamomile exemplify this natural connection. With its delicate, daisy-like appearance and soothing aroma, chamomile has been cherished for centuries for its calming properties. Consumed as a tea, it invites relaxation and peace, easing stress and tension. Beyond the cup, chamomile can be harnessed in skincare to soothe skin irritations, reaffirming the plant’s role as a gentle healer rooted in nature.

Through monthly 75-minute classes focused on rituals, recipes, movements, and meditation, women can cultivate their connection to the wild feminine. These sessions aim to guide participants in honoring the root and sacral chakras—centers of stability and creativity—while understanding the five components of pelvic health. Engaging with herbs like chamomile, practicing mindful movement, and meditating on the natural world empower us to listen deeply to our bodies and the Earth’s signals.
